Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of counseling psychology theories, methodologies, and ethical principles.
Apply ethical and moral values to counseling interactions, respecting the diversity of individual beliefs and backgrounds.
Develop effective counseling and therapeutic skills for various client populations within a faith-based context.
Integrate theological insights into counseling sessions and therapeutic interventions.
Analyze and address contemporary psychological challenges and opportunities from a divinity-based perspective.
Conduct psychological assessments and provide evidence-based counseling services with compassion and integrity.
Promote ethical and compassionate counseling practices that align with theological values.
Contribute to the advancement of counseling psychology through research and scholarship in the field of divinity in counseling psychology.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
Applicants for admission must hold a Bachelor's or equivalent degree from university or college with at least a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 (4.00 scale).
REQUIRED CREDITS
36 credits or more
SPECIAL CREDIT RECOGNITION POLICY 
Field experiences, such as participation in religious activities, work experience, and field activities, may qualify for special credit recognition. Additionally, prior learning may be evaluated for credit beyond standard coursework.
FAITH BASED EDUCATION
Kennedy University of Baptist offers only educational programs that prepare students for religious vocations as ministers, professionals, or laypersons in the categories of ministry, counseling, theology, education, administration, music, fine arts, media communications, or social work.
